I am using an os 120 on my sta with a 90 degree header pipe. The header runs very close to the inside of the cowl but does not touch the inside. Is there something I can use to protect the fiberglass from the heat? Thanks in advance for your help.

Strange, I have the same set up but my 90 degree header pipe comes no where near the cowl. There's plenty of clearance.

See my thread elsewhere in this forum about the Ryan and OS 1.20. I have several pics posted. My website also has my build process so far.

Jeff, the cowl on the STA must be a little different than on the 'M'.

Well, when youguys get your 120`s figured out, youwill just love that plane engine combo, fast idle on landing and it makes the nicest two point landings with the tail gear just off the ground.... brings a tear to my eye.
