WELL MY PLANE I THINK IS FINALLY HERE.. OREDERED IT ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO AND I SEE THE MOST RECENT SHIPMENT JUST CAME IN.. SHOULD HAVE IT IN MY HANDS WITHIN THE NEXT COUPLE DAYS.. MY QUESTION IS THE RADIO EQUIPMENT AND SERVOS I SHOULD USE.. WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING A HITEC PACK WITH HS605BB ALL AROUND. WILL THIS BE SUFFICIENT? NOT SURE ON THE ENGINE YET, MAYBE AN OS160FX. CONSIDERING GAS ALSO, BUT NOT SURE IF I CAN THROW OUT THE CHANGE FOR THAT ONE.. LEANING MORE TOWARDS GLOW I GUESS. ARE THE HITECS RELIABLE? IVE HAD ONE RECIEVER GO BAD WITH THEM BEFORE BUT I GUESS THAT CAN HAPPEN WITH ANY RADIO SYSTEM. FOR THE PRICE THE 605 SEEMS LIKE A GOOD DEAL.. LET ME KNOW THAT YOU ALL THINK.. THANKS :cool:

This doesn't answer your question about radio gear, but if you haven't already done so you will want to search previous posts regarding what mods need to be done on the plane before flying it.

The 605 may not be enough for the rudder if you're into high-speed high-throw rudder jamming. It will be enough otherwise. Search the forums. Lots of goodies here to be found. Don't even attempt the front servo elevator hook-up suggested in the manual. It sux rocks bad.
