Servo setup for DP Ultimate?
Bozwth,
Powerflite is actually in Garland, I'm 30 minutes away from them. Go check it all out, they are pretty sweet. Downside is only that it will cost a little $$ to get set up with them, they take special chargers, and the packs arent too cheap either... But I LOVE them! HighSierraHelis: I think a Brison 2.4 is way too much engine for this plane. A 120 pulls it around great, 2.4 wouldnt fit in the cowl, and it would pull the firewall out in no time. The 180 is as much engine I would think about putting in it. As for the 225's. I would use only MG's on the ailerons. I would bet they nylon gears would strip on the first flight with the vibration these engines put out. Just my thought. :D |

How about the new 5245 Hitec digital mini's for the ailerons??

Those are great! If you're wallet doesnt mind, try those out, They are probably the best idea for the wings. :)

HS-5245s
I hope so. I have a pair on order for my .40-sized DP bipe - they are going into the wings.
BTW Servo City has great prices on these even though they aren't listed on the website. $50 apiece, shipped free. |
