Sensation - exponential, flaperons, or nothing

Is anyone using flaperons or exponential to make landings easier on the Sensation, or does it land well with none of the above?

I have been flying mine for a couple of years. I have 35% expo on the elevator and 25% on th ailerons.Flies fine like that and needs no flaperons to land. Comes in kinda hot, but you can just fly it right down to the ground and 3-point it every time.

My lows were set at Kyosho's addendum's high rates (with -25% expo on all the control surfaces), and I had high at almost 60% higher than that. Flew great. Slowed down very well. Landed, hate to say it but, like a trainer.

I've been flying it for a few weeks now. I used the high rates recommended in the addendum, and added 1/16" "up" throw for the ailerons to try to make rolls more axial. I ended up with 50% expo on the ailerons and rudder.

Lands easier than a trainer. The trainer wants to float right by. The Sensation comes right down, flares, and 3-points beautifully.

You're right about the landings. Very predictable sink rate. At least mine doesn't come in hot though (CG is a little bit back of recommended), I can come in at speeds right above stall (almost nose high) and use the throttle to keep the plane airborne. And flair/touchdown for a 3-point just above jogging pace.
