Greetings.
First of all, Hello all of you. OK, on the last week my father gave me an rc aircraft, a trainer offcourse, and i noticed a major fault in the kit when it was opened. The trainer is an discontinued H9 Easy Fly 40(i was a bit sad at that time, but ive read it is a decent trainer so im a little happier now),ok, its an ARF, the overall construction seems very acceptable but ther's a real problem, the firewall mount is not well glued, it have a little distortion making the engine mount not in the most desired position. Looks like the kit was assembled with epoxy so i think i have a real problem here to get that thing right The seller sold him a .40 LA too so here again i got a little pissed of cause i think a .46 LA or even FX would have been a much better deal but ok, it will take off. Its a trainer right ? Any opinions will be very well accepted. Thank you. |
RE: need help
You want a little Right thrust in the engine along with down to make the plane fly good. It should be just enough to see with the eye. If it is more then you will have to fly with alot of rudder to keep it in a line. You can add washers behind the mount to get the desired amount.
The 40 on a trainer is fine. It would get off the ground quicker with a 46 but at the same time would probably fly nice with a 35 LATER and good luck!! |
RE: need help
Yeah. What he said. The fire wire was probably purposely glued on crooked. It is for the right thrust from the engine. I'm sure it will be fine and you should only need 2 degrees of right thrust for that application. have a nice night
