Plane for 48 surpass
 

Can anyone suggest a plane I can use for this engine? Kinda hard to pick a plane for it because it is too small for a .40 and too big for a .25

I'm flying a SIG Rascal 40 with a 48 Surpass in it. Great leisurely Sunday flyer. I love it.

i have an os 48 surpass in a world models zen 30. this is a 30 size pattern plane and the 48 pulls real well. this is a real nice arf and if you are into aerobatics, you will like this plane.

Yellow Aircraft makes some 30 sized planes that would be a great choice for your 48. I have mounted a 48 on 25 sized planes before and it worked out great.

friend has a 4*40 with the old 48. flies great

I have an OS 52 Surpass in a GP Dazzler (kit built), but I figure the 48 would give good perfomance in the GP Dazzler ARF.

I had the 48 on a 4 star 40 and it was the funnest glow plane I have ever had. It does beautiful flat spins and just an all around fun sport plane.

Had good luck with a World Models T-34 and my OS .52FS. A four stroke just begs to be in a scale or semi-scale plane in my opinion.
Was a very nice flying plane too.

I second that Zen 30 recommendation. Another one would be the WM SuperSports 30 which is a really great flyer. The 48 would find life very good in that installation!

world models rambler 30, looks & flies like a small astro hog, very good performance on 40-50 size 4stroke

dls... how could I have missed that?!!? That is absolutely right. I have a Rambler 30 and it is my absolutely favorite plane! I sold my last one when I moved but I have a new one that will have a saito 56 on her. Absolutely LOVELY plane and so so pretty as well!
