ARESTI 40 Center of Gravity

Have a Aresti 40 with a Satio 72 up front. Set the CG to 3.75". Seems very nose heavy.

What do you recommend and have you experimented with this plane?

Glow - try 4" then. I know you will need about 3 oz on the tail with the Saito 72.

tianci:

Won't need any tailweight at all. Removed the heavy iron mount and replaced it with a Dave Brown fiberglass mount.

Also, moved the battery back behind the servos. Balances at 4.0" behind the leading edge. Should be just about perfect.
And the beaty part is no extra weight. Should be a great flyer...

Thanks.

glow - have fun ... KE has a bit of coupling. Set your CG to help sort out the coupling k, it helps ... Nose heavy will pitch to canopy.
