MODELTECH HURRICANE C of G

I just picked up a old MODELTECH HURRICANE (40 size aerobatics trainer) ARC kit.

Looking through the instructions I can't find a recommended Balance point.

Anyone flown one of these in the past.

If so could you possibly advise a good C of G to start with??

Regards,
harvey

RE: MODELTECH HURRICANE C of G

The book says " the balence point is actually a range between the main brace and 3/4 behind the main brace ",
The plane flies like its on rails ! I had a k&b 61 on it and it was really fast . The plane is really "thin" as you fly it
make sure your colors contrast . I flew mine into some power lines when we joined our new club[:o]
After you slide the wings on just use a zip tie to hold them together , I also glued some studs into the wing so when
they slid on they would have a nut on the inside of the fuse , I use to do aileron rolls with full throw and it was a blur !
Every time I did that I thought the wing were going to come off:D Not sure if Ill ever try to fix mine , not woth the
effort with the cost of arfs these days.
Hope this helps
NATHAN
