*VectorFlights Extra 300S 58 in*
I read a lot of the thread on the VF Edge 540 and everyone seems to agree that the plane is very well built. I was wondering if the small planes had the same quality? I was looking at buying the Extra 300S ARF, 58 in. and putting a ST .91 on the business end. I'm not sure if the ST .91 would be enough engine to take the 66" 540 vertical. Any comments on the smaller planes and what engine you are running.

I have the 66" Edge with a Saito .91 on the front. It has good vertical, not unlimited, a nice strong climb. The control surfaces are kind of small for any 3d, outside of hovering.... It's a little tail heavy with the Saito, so the Super Tigre should be about right on the front... If I get the 56" Extra (I'm thinking about it), I will use a Saito .91 on the front of it.. mounted inverted... I have flown the VF Sukhoi, Edge, and big Extra... All good sport fliers, and very well built...

I have a Webra 75 on my 66" Edge. All I know is that vertical is out of sight. Maybe it stops somewhere up there, but I can't see it from here. ST-91 should be perfect for the Edge.

My guess would be that the smaller VF Extra is built to the same standards as the larger VF Extra, and if the VF Extras are built to the same quallity Standards as my VF Edge then I would guess that the smaller VF Extra is Fantastic!

I have both the 58 inch and the 66 inch Extra... I liked the 58 inch on so much I decided to get the 66 inch... They are both well built great flying planes... One nice thing about the 58 inch is the wing comes as a one peice uint... A real beauty... Cant really go wrong with either..

Looks like the Super Tigre .91 will fly both of them pretty good. I'm going to get one or the other, just can't make up my mind. Thanks for the info guys. ;)
