Is the GSP Edge 540 72" ARF suitable for Basic IMAC?

Hi, I'm thinking hard about the 72" Edge 540 (Chief Aircraft or GSP) for a first IMAC plane for my 14yr old son. He's sure that it is the perfect plane. Could use some feedback from someone with that plane. Thanks

I have several GSP/CMPro products, all bought from www.jet-hobbies.com. I deal with Andy. Never had a problem so far, shipping is charged at real cost prices. I have the Edge you mentioned. Real WS is 69 inches. Mine has a GMS 1.2 engine. First flight will be in the spring, we are still frozen up here in BC, Canada.
