Dragon Lady CG
I picked up a old Model Tech Dragon Lady ARF 40 size .. Was wondering if someone would know a good starting point for the CG ..Or any other info on this plane ..
Thanks !! |
RE: Dragon Lady CG
The instructions say to balance it between 3 1/4" and 3 1/2" from the leading edge. I have mine with a Thundertiger .46 with a slimline pitts style muffler. It flys pretty fast but slows up nicely for landings. I hope you have a blast with your dragonlady.

RE: Dragon Lady CG
Thanks Randy .It looks like a fun plane . I put a Super Tigre GS 45 on mine . It should scoot along . Ya know after I posted this just for the heck of it I wrote Model Tech and asked for info on it . After writing 2 other companys a few years ago about planes they no longer make an getting little to no response from them I exspected the same but what the heck .
Well I tell ya Shortly after emailing them A nice lady named Sonya wrote me right back .Gave me the low down on it and offered to send a instuction manual if I gave her my addy . I gave it to her and then got an email confirming it was shipped and get this ....FREE !!!! Thats how I like to be treated . I recently bought a Model Tech P-47 ARF off of RCU used . The quality of the kit looks great and most every thing has been fitting well on assembly . So for what my oppion is worth Ive been very impressed by them . Now if I can convince the wife I need another plane That SE-5A bipe they build is pretty tempting And at $159 from the Hobby People pretty resonable ..Anybody buy one yet ?? Peace Out ! |
