Please let me know what you think

I'm really getting itchy to buy another plane. A low winged planed is a must. I came across this advertisement on RCU and was wondering how most felt about composite airplanes. It's not balsa , plastic , or foam. So I'm really not sure what it is....

Thanks.

Sorry heres the link. :)

What add? Composite usually means fiberglass or carbon fiber.

Composite can mean two or more materials combined; according to the ad, carbon fiber is one of the components, how much is not specified. I am more than a little put off by the cf radio tray! (since it is electrically conductive, like metal). I would feel better waiting until I saw a couple of magazine reviews or better yet, saw one in person at my LHS. Jim

:) I agree and I'm not up for being the guinee pig. I'm not sure if the metal in the servo try would block signal but I would bet my last dollar it would alter the signal.

Unless you are very advanced I would skip composite aircraft. I bang mine up and would much prefer to fix balsa.

I bought a World Model's Skyraider 2 ARF for my little brother to practice on after he mastered the Avistar. It is low wing and a tail dragger. I put an old TT 46 Pro on it and it turned out to be a bit overpowered. The plane flies incredbily well and is pretty aerobatic, but at the same time easy to fly. My little brother landed it the first time he flew it and took off on the next flight.

The plane was $69.99 :D and a 40-46 bushing engine will fly it well.

It also has iron on covering and overall was built well, not to mention the bolt on wing. I hate rubber bands!

It gets 2 thumbs up.

My only complaint would be the stock push rods, they got replaced.....
