I would like to hear from those of you that have this model and any changes you made to it.
I set mine up with Hitec HS225 MG servos in the tail for rudder and elevator, HS81 MG for Ail. and HS55 for throttle.
Power is a Saito .91 and the finished weight is 5 1/4 LBS.
Still have not flown it yet, but will report how it preforms after test flights.

My buddy flew his today. Totally stock, with a TT 46 Pro up front.

In short, it is a truly delightful model, but definitely NOT for a beginner or the faint of heart. This airplane is very fast and agile, but goes exactly where you point it and stays there until told to move again. It is actually a little pattern plane.

A Saito 91??? Man, that's major overkill. The TT 46 really moves the plane out at half throttle. Besides, you're going to need a 12x10 or so prop to absorb that engine's power and still have ground clearance, if you use the issue landing gear. I would be seriously concerned about overstressing the model with this much power. It is a little airplane.

First flights today.

I flew 3 flights today and it is awesome.
Vertical is great and most flying and aerobatics can be done at 1/2 throttle or below.
Did a couple knife edge loops, spins, outside loops and a lot of inside and outside snaps.
It still needed a little more tail weight but I would much rather test fly a little nose heavy

I have an Aresti and love it. Probably one of the finest flying planes in my hanger. Very well built for an ARF.

Aresti

Assembled an Aresti for a friend and he loves it. It's got an Irvine .53 on it and has plenty of power. It will stall if too much elevator is fed in but recovery is easy once the elevator is released. Good flyin ARF.
