Just getting ready to fly mine. I have read lots about this combo. I am wondering what you guys with the big gas engines are running for props. I have a 22-8 on it now for break in. It looks so big. Do you have any torque problems. Does it try to roll upside down every time you hit the power.

Thanks
Bill

After 5 flights mine was back in the shop. Needed more right thrust, needed the CG moved back a bit, one wheel pant was splitting open, I reinforced the firewall and a couple of other minor tweaks.

It's been raining since I fixed it, so I dont know how it will do now. I had a 22x10 on it, swapped it out for a 22x8. I will keep that until I've got a few gallons through it.

Need to land it hot, it falls out of the sky when you chop power. Mine also balooned a lot on landing. I'm hoping moving the CG back will help tame the landing.

Craig.

Let's see, "land it hot" and "balloned a lot" seem to go together.
