valve clearance

Don't want to sound stupid but what are you guys using to messure valve clearance on 4-stroke engines. As I would like to pick up somthing tonight to set my valve clearance. I need somthing that goes as small as .002

I use a feeler gauge.... they can be found at autoparts stores
