3D + patern

Hi, everyone.
I am looking for kind of patern with 3D option plane for my ys63:
And find two candidates for that:
Model Tech Twister which is not expensive, available in US and with known good quality
(have had model tech arfs), but probably a little heavy for the ys 63
http://hobbypeople.net/gallery/123774.asp

Free style Rush is another candidate which seems lighter then previous

Any one flown one of them or both, or having any suggestions of which better for both patern and 3D fly Please give me a comments.

Take a look at the Great Planes U-Can-Do .46. I bet it would work nicely with a ys 63.

the UCD is not a pattern plane, too light wing loading. Try the CG Matrix or even the Fliton Extra 330.

I thought about CG matrix, but scare to by that, because have had bad experience with
Lainer Razor. I was badly surprise with quality of ARF for the money, I’ve sent that back. My friend told me that liner and CG have some relationship so I am worry about the CG quality.

Both of your choices are good ones and I doubt you will find anything better. I am fortunate enough to have acquired a model that, IMO, is the best combo plane ever produced this size; the Global Freestyle. However it is no longer available. I have one and just bought a backup off a fellow club member (nib-he is doing some serious pattern stuff now).

I was looking at an alternative and these 2 planes were my choices. I don't know how much the Twister weight, but my Global Freestyle weighed a little over 6lbs (with about 600+ sq in of wing area) and the ys 63 pulled it with authority (vertical was not an issue). In fact I believe the extra pound of weight contributed to the excellent pattern flying capabilities it has.

I don't think you can go wrong with either of these planes. Good luck...

Either the Twister, or the Matrix will be agood choice.
Also the Imagine 50 by thunder tiger albeit that's pricey at US$185
