First scale Plane?

After 20 years of absence from flying I have been logging many hours of flight on 40 size models over the past few months. The last plane I have built is a H9 Pizzaz with a Saito 72.(great plane!) My next project is going to be a 1.20 size scale aerobatic craft. I have not flown any of these models but wanted to get some input on which direction to go in choosing from my short list:

Edge 540
CAP 232
Extra

I have had my eye on the Hanger 9 Edge with a Saito 180, but I was hoping to find some insight from others who might have flown these models, and manufacturer recommendations before I plunk down $350-400 for an ARF.

TIA

Mike

First scale Plane?

I have the Sig 231 EX with an OS 1.60. Great combo, very good wing loading no bad habits during landing etc... Good 3d set up, but could be better with a Moki 2.1 :D

I also have a Lanier Edge 540T 1/4 scale. I did some mods to lighten the kit and my dry weight is 12.6 lb. I originally mounted a Saito 1.80 but was unsatisfied with the performance. A OS 1.60 has proved better, but again there is no replacement for cubic displacement....

I have not flown the H9 Edge, but is is larger than the Lanier (25% V/S 27%) and cant help but think the Saito would not go well if you are looking for the 3D stuff.
