Plane for a 35CC gas engine

I would like suggestions for a new plane. I have a Roto35vi that turns a Bambula 20X8 at 6600rpm and it was in a plane that I dumb thumbed into the ground today.

Aerobatics is a must 3D is not a need but would be nice. I'm open to all suggestions so please fire away

TIA :D

What about this Cap 232, at $250 it's cheaper than a stick!!! http://www.rcsuperstore.com/Products...aft/eaa232.htm Same plane as Chip Hyde Cap-x. Planning a Ryobi 31cc w/electronic ign for mine. There's a build thread here too!!!

You may want to look at the 1.20 size WH Edge 540. The Goldberg Sukhoi ARF is also a possibility.

That's weird you suggested that. This was in a Kangke Cap232-120. Kinda heavy. Flew well until I dumb thumbed it but it looks promising Thanks :D

I didn't consider the WH 120 Edge but to tell you the truth I have 2 CG Sukhoi's One with a YS140 and the other with RCIGNITION's G26. One's for 3D the other is for IMAC.

I a little concerned on wing loading. This engine is 3.1lbs with the ignition, muffler and battery.

But I'll give Tom at WH a shout to see what he thinks. I have his Ultimate what a plane [X(]

The original Dan Santich 80" UltraHots was designed around a Quadra 35. It took less than 48 hours to go from a pencilled sketch to a flying plane with a Quadra 35 on the nose.

The Roto 35 is a lot lighter than the Quadra and would make the UltraHots really perform well.

Plans are available somewhere, and you may even be able to find a kit.
