Check Your Clunks!!
 

Hye guys,

Last night I pulled the tanks out of my Ultra Stick Lite for a Check-up and when I inspected the clunks the filters were clogged with debris! So I romoved the filters and just installed a filtered clunk in my fuel jug and an inline filter between the Header tank and the Carb.. This will make for easier maintanence (SP?)! So if your using a filtered clunk, Check it and maybe remove the filter.

Yeap, good advice. I am a big fan of fuel filters, but not in the tank. It's too hard to get some fuel tanks out. I use a filter in the gallon jug on my fuel pump pick up line and an inline filter on each aircraft.

That's how I set mine up... I originally started as a routine check... Turned out the filters were clogged.. A pain.. But worth saving the engine from the damage or the loss of an Airframe due to deadsticks
