Modeltech Magic ARF

Hello All,

I need some info. I just bought a Magic ARF and I need to know a few things.

1. Standard Servos or Micro? Make and Model.....

2. Engine Make and Model.....will a OS 35fp or OS40LA work?

3. The instructions on page 8 are backwards printed, does anyone know where I can get a new page 8?

I also read that the push rods are abit to weak, if so what size should I replace them with.

Thanks in Advance.

Jim

Standard servos except for the elevator. You need a high tourque on it. I'm not sure about the engine. I'd go with a 40 FX or something simmilar. You could call Modeltech and ask for a new instruction manual. They shouldnt give you any trouble.

I used HiTec 225BB mini-servos all around, the supplied push-rods are fine when used in push-pull as shown in the instructions.
Your .35 or .40 will work fine and help keep the weight down so the slow speed performance of this plane will really shine. I used a Leo .37 on mine and it will fly straight up from a vertical hand launch. I also used a lite battery pack (4 AAA NiMH). These items with the mini-servos resulted in a all-up weight of 3 Lb. 10 Oz.

Keep it light and you will have a ball....... Bob
