i just got one and it is an awesome looking airplane havnt flown it yet but ordered a taurus 3.2 today should be awesome i have hitec digitals all the way around

but to answer your question the os wont be enough power even at sea level well not for me any way. It will just about hover but if you want to go glow i would go with a moki 2.1 or 1.8

World Models Extra 300S ???

I am in the process of putting a WM Extra 300S together and I am very disappointed in the hardware package that came with the model. It is complete junk and almost everything needs to be replaced. I have already spent over $100 purchasing new hardware and still don't have everything that I need. I am also disappointed in the construction of the model, the glue looks like it's from a hot glue gun and I have had to re-glue almost every joint and servo tray to build up strength. Looking back on it (hindsight is 20/20) I would have been better off buying the dave patrick extra for $50 more, and given that the hardware that model comes with is top notch, I would have been, to date, up $50 and have a better built model. The WM looks great and hopefully, flys great too, but there are a lot of things to consider when spending this much money on a model and unfortunately, I am learning the hard way. I have the Taurus 3.2 coming next week, so things are looking up.

Im building one and it looks like a decent built arf the hardware is bad ( but who uses the hardware that comes with an arf ) the spinner looks like a spinright spinner not bad the pilot is a little large but fixable if you just had to use the little guythe overall constuction lokks better than some arfs and worse than others, but not to bad for the price(369.shipped)Im going with a Fox 2.4 peace keeper muffler and hightech servos

WM EXTRA 300

I HAVE AN EXTRA FROM WM IT IS ASSEMBLED WITH THE STOCK HARDWARE AND AN OS 160 WITH A BISSON MUFFLER. IT FLYS GREAT, I HAVE ABOUT 60 FLIGHTS ON IT AND HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH VERTICAL OR ANYTHING ELSE I WANT TO DO.
AS FOR ALTITUDE I LIVE IN UTAH AT 600 FEET. I DID HAVE TO GO TO A 16-10 PROP FOR THE VERTCAL.

;) The included hardware will work fine if you use the OS 160 or simular. If you go gas as I did they should be changed. I used mostly rocket city hardwear and swivel ends on the sevos. It DID NOT cost me $100 to do it.
The quallity of the kit was above average fo an ARF. With a Brisson 2.4 gas engine the performance is GREAT.
