Don't know if this is what your refering to. It's the RCM 40 ARF.
I had one and litterly fly the wings right off of it. It was a great trainer plane. I learned a lot from it.
The blind nut plates came loose and let the wing separate from the plane while in flight. :( I had lots of flights on it.

Thanks Hondaguy; I was looking for the 60 size RCM trainer. I need a large trainer, With these 77year old eyes I need something large enough for me to see.

Bob look at Sig's Kadet Senior, nice big plane. I believe the ARF comes in Red & White or Blue & White, 4 channel and a great plane. Good luck with your search. Dick

Hobby People sells the Global Right Flyer 60H II. It looks a lot like the old RCM trainer 60 I had years ago. I have trained several students with this plane and it flies great. Better than my Hobbistar 60. The only caveat with this plane is the covering and trim needs to be sealed to keep it from loosening after a few flights. Easy to see with a large wingspan and big fuselage.

Thanks Stinger3, I checked with my LHS & Tower Hobbies for the Senior Kadet, but they all have them on back order. From the pictures I've seen, it looks to be a little on the fragile side for a trainer. If you have any more suggestions please let me know.

The Senior Kadet is much stronger than it looks. We use a kit built Kadet to let newbes fly and to just have fun with at the end of the day. It is on its third or fourth engine and still going strong.
One plane not mentioned is the new Hobbico 60 which has a semi-symetrical wing and mono-coat covering. I have a new one in the box I could make you a deal on if you lived closer.

Two of these were built by a club member this past winter. Recently acquired one of them. Electric power with an increased wing span to 70 inches. Will post photos soon.

RCM Trainer 60, Electric with 70 inch Wingspan

I have this plane. Purchase one last year and another was up for sale last week and acquired it as well. Both were built by a local builder and are electric with 70 inch wingspan, aileron and flaps. Fly great. Photos of the blue one attached. Will add photos of the yellow one later.
