FliteCraft Cardinal
 

Hello,

Does anyone have the instructions or assembly plans for the ARF Cardinal, it was made by Flitecraft. I bought this for my Father several years ago and it never got built and the instruction were misplaced. Now I have a box with a new airplane, servos, engine, and radio but no assembly instructions. I've tried to find info on Flitecraft but I can't seem to come up with anything on them. Tower gave me a phone number but it was for a private residence, maybe they are no longer in business? If anyone has a set I would buy a copy. Or if someone has any info on how to obtain a copy I would surely appreciate it.

May I suggest you try to find a nearby RC club through your local hobby shop or maybe the AMA. With luck maybe one of the clubs flyers wouldn't mind giving you a a hand. There are standard things that have to be done on all planes to get them to flying condition including installing servo trays, servos, engines, wing joining, and control rods. An experienced pilot with a few kits behind him should be able to figure it out. BTW, you will also need to get help to learn to fly when the plane is completed. If you try to fly it on your own, you will just end with the plane in seperate pieces again! [8D]

I had three other Flitecrafts, but, alas, not the Cardinal. I had a couple each of the 300s, the Aerobat, and the other one that I forget now.

I have owned and flown a few of them ,they are pretty straight forward on putting them together.Use epoxy on joining wing wing was foam with a kind of plastic covering,fuses on those planes were plastic and rear control surfaces were made of foam allso . Try to stay away from Ca unless it is foam safe around the foam parts.Anybody that has put together a Arf should be able to help you out. like I said they are pretty straight forward just a bit on the heavy side like most ARFs built back then.I allso would go with a .46 engine you can allways throtle back.
