king cat prop version

I was over in the crash forum and saw some pics of the Beijing expo. one of the vendors has a prop version of the king cat on display. I googled the vendors name and what appeared to be the model company ( CY model) with no results. does anyone know if this plane is available in the US yet or does another manufactuer build it?

looks interesting. Ill keep my eye out as I some how get contacted by random manufacturers sometimes. Looks like a good candidate for a small brushless!

I know I've seen CY's web site, but I lost all my bookmarks last Thursday when my hard drive crashed. I'd be curious if the design was copyrighted and if they've got permission to be using it.

Man I sure hope so. I love the way the King Cat looks and flies, but like the majority of modelers, the step up to jets is way out of my budget unless I win the lottery.

The southwestern aeromdeling conference (SWAC) is having an expo in Fort Worth Nov. 11-12 at the convention center. [link]http://www.flyswac.com/[/link] I will keep my eyes open to see if there are any prospects here.

Just checking if anyone has run across this plane or one like it. It's been a few months so I thought I would re-visit the thread. There has to be one of these models out there somewhere.

i can get it in taiwan... i had a friend fly it with a 15LA last weekend. the frame isn't robust enough for it, though, and on a slightly harder landing, broke the bulkhead the nosewheel attaches to. the plane is quite nicely built for electric and seems to have standard e-flight characteristics.

i'm not sure who makes it but i can comment on the quality, the size and the flying characteristics only having seeing it a few times. let me know if there's anything i can answer.
