Allow me to respond. It has come to my attention that some of the claims you made were totally false about VMAR. One of the products you slammed had not even shipped anywhere on the dates you posted about it and thus you could have no opinion on it like you offered (which was negative). The only prototype was in lockdown at a tradeshow so the negative comments you made make me suspect at what your motives are by attacking VMAR. You could not make those comments on those dates as the product had never been seen by you. Just curious and I have to ask...do you work for a competitor to VMAR?

Furthermore if you continue to spread knowingly false statements about any person or company posting privileges here will be revoked. I have proof that the statements you made on the dates you made them are not within the realm of possibility. Would you like to explain how you got a hold of the Tomahawk well before the 1st sealed container ever got cracked open?

Rock ON --- Keep it honest!!

This is not the place for hidden agendas, I applaud the moderators for removing your negative review of a product that you could not own.

Porsche911, why don't you explain how you could rip a product that you couldn't own?

I have to tell you that as someone who relies on the opinion of some of the old timers in this hobby, I resent your obvious bull**** agenda.

If I were the moderator, I would revoke your priviledges for clouding the minds of people who took you at your word, which it now seems was based on vapor.

What is your agenda?

How could you rip a product that you don't own. I will tell you that I told several of my flying buddies that I had read negative things about the VMAR Tomahawk based on your now deleted thread. SO I have some fence mending to do.

This is not the place for you,

Try a chat room,

I really resent being used,

Thanks moderators for controlling this troll

He would be welcome on usenet. I doubt that he works for a VMAR competitor. Go up and read his post at the top of this thread. Would you hire him? I doubt that he works anywhere.

Hey Porsche,

You got busted. Even then, the moderator still has the decency to allow you to explain yourself (integrity points for Marc  ) when others (including myself) would've just shut you down for good.

Before you put on those 'Rose colored glasses' why don't you clear the air and let the readers here know how you came about the product in question. Until then your credibility is shot.

C.P.

Hideho all,

I was the one who nuked Porsch911's posts without an explanation. I was mailed the above proof the other day of his untrue remarks.

I didn't have either the time or inclination to refute his misinformation.

Yes, VMAR has had it's share of jusifyable bad press in the past. Remember that it's a value line of models, and thet do not advertise that they are the best available. Just that they are striving to improve the quality, and still represent value to the average modeler. Offering us choices of planes not usually ARF'd or manafactured by other companys.

To fully clarify this...

The manufacturer and the north american
distributor of the VMAR Tomahawk ARF have pointed out an inconsistency
between the release date of the first Tomahawks to the north american
market and comments contained in and/or referred to postings by
Porsche911.

As the moderators of this forum we encourage the exchange of
advice and information between modellers everywhere. When there is an
apparent discrepancy between statements and fact we carefully review the
information and then act to ensure that our members are not being
misinformed.

Accordingly, we have removed a number of postings related
to the north american release of the VMAR Tomahawk. We have taken this
step after confirming that the first Tomahawks for the north american
market were not available prior to Oct 11th and noting that Porsche911
was making comments related to various hands on attributes of the
Tomahawk more than 1 week before the Distributor had inventory. No
pre-production samples of the Tomahawk were released hence the moderator
felt that the information posted by Porsche911 was inaccurate or perhaps
should have been attributed to another item. We were unable to determine
what model Porsche911 was supposedly looping early in October but we
have satisfied ourselves that it surely was not a VMAR Tomahawk!

Lastly, we would like to point out to our members, real information about
POLYCOTE ECS is listed at www.richmondrc.com/polycote.htm and provided
with all VMAR models shipped by the distributor

I now no that my own anger and frustration towards VMAR has caused me to assume that all models from them may be junk whether this be true or not
THE moderators where very right to remove my post as I wasbashing the wrong plane>>>>ITS very good to see the moderators are on there toes and doing there job
MY own STUPIDITY has showen me that my hatred and misgiving toward VMAR will not alllow me to be honest or objective in the future>>so therefor I will not answer or post treads related to VMAR or its products any more>>>

we all make mistakes...just remember it's important to have all your facts before you speak against a person or company in a large forum such as this. We all need to be fair to the users as well as the companies that provide us with the products which we all enjoy so much.
