Wire Braces On an Edge
Hi All,
Just wondering if it is worth putting flying wires on the tailplane of my Edge 540 1.20 (H9)? They look great:D in my opinion, but I've no idea how to do them:(!!! John |

RE: Wire Braces On an Edge
The flying wires are for extra needed support on the tail plane of the model. On some really extreme manuvers there is a lot of stress that the tail sections sees so the flying wires just helps them to distribute the load around the section.
Sullivan makes a flying wire kit which ive installed twice on differant models. Works very good but, it does take a little effort and time to set up. http://www2.gpmd.com/image/s/sulq3246.jpg http://www.rcuniverse.com/gallery/ga...s/lg-26210.jpg granted its not the best of pictures but you could see on my vectorflight edge ive installed the sullivan flying wires. It sure does keep the tail section together. |
