I have one with a OS61SF in it. I had to cut open the fuse at the rear and put the battery about 4" in front of the tail. It balances with no additional weight. Flies like a bandit!!!

Hi All,

I took a short break during the assembly of my Phoenix Sukhoi Su-31; now I can not find my manual.
Can anyone tell me the recommended throws on the control surfaces ????

recommeded throws are: elevator 11mm up and down ailerons 10mm up and down, and rudder 20mm left and right.
be conservative on the elevator. mine will snap real easy with too much elevator.

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the help... got the maiden flight in this morning and I must say this plane is a kick in the pants to fly.
The OS 50 performs very well on this plane and I like the agility.


Well can't wait to fly her again next weekend :-)
