Dave Patrick Extra and MVVS 2.15 gas?

Would this be a good combo? If not what gas engine would you use?

It will depend on your flying style.

A 50cc gas engine would be best for 3d. For scale flying a zdz40 would be great!

The MVVS would probably be ok for regular aerobatics but you will not be doing too many vertical snaps in a row with it.

I saw a DP 300L doing vertical snaps with a OS 1.60FX and running out of steam. That engine has the power for all the other manuevers in this plane, it keeps it light, just not multiple snaps or fast excelleration out of a hover.

I think the 2.15 would have the same power as the OS 1.60FX but it will weigh more.

f2racer:
Will be very boderline if you like to do aerobatics for which the plane was designed. Most people are reporting that 2.4 and 2.6 engines are not enough. 3.2 or 50CC will ensure you are a happy camper. Oh, guys with the large Moki's are very happy, if you can afford the fuel.
