YOu may want to try a search in this forum. There's a topic that has about a gazillion threads about this plane.

It may be 2 years old though. Thay're phasing out that particular plane.

Hmmm. I talked to Mike about that plane a couple of weeks ago and he didn't mention phasing it out. I hope not, that is a great flying plane

Yes, do a search in here and in Giant RC Aircraft. There are quite a few threads with all kinds of info.

I loved mine ... and will replace it [:@]

Good deal. I think you will really enjoy it. As you mentioned, pay close attention to the bottom wing. Just like any biplane, that is critical. You shouldn't have any problems if you follow Mike's intructions. It is well worth the effort to make sure it is right.

Keep us updated.

Hey, I just finished a yellow and black Eagle II and had a chance to fly it for the first time this past weekend. The Super Tiger 2300 1.4 2 stroke pulled it perfectly. Not to mention I didn't have to add any weight at all. The plane flies like a real airplane, the only thing that was interesting was how much down trim it needed for level, I'm going to mess with the engine angle to see if that changes anything. It's not for 3D flying though but it can still snap with the best of them. It's a great ARF especially if you're into building because there is some creativity needed. I'm starting on my second one tommorrow, the black one. I have a super tiger 1.9 waiting to go. I'll have some better pics this weekend

Make sure that the engine has 2 degrees of down thrust and the top wing incidence is set at +1 degree from the bottom wing. If it climbs when you add power, you need to either add more incidence to the top wing or more downthrust to the engine until it flies level at all throttle settings.

I have the original eagle (white with colored graphics) and my understanding was that the scheme I had was too difficult to produce so they were going with a different one. There's a black on on their website. I have mine waiting for me to get to it with a DA-50 stuffed in the nose.
