I've been flying a couple of prototypes here in the UK for a while now, tried both options IC and electric. The IC was powered by a Thunder Tiger 20 and the second was electric, my personal preference was the electric. It stayed rigged up in the back of the car and was just a matter of plugging in the lipo. The servos used in both set ups were 2kg mini's.
The flying have a look at the video click on the link below.

Nice video! Thanks for the info. Can you tell if a 25 IC would be too big for this plane? Or, was the 20 more than enough motor...

Thanks

It has good wing area, the 25 will be OK with sensible engine management, a 20 would be better.

Interesting, I just stumbled across this plane and immediately searched this forum....

Nice video!

I like the way it appears to fly in your video. I'm just looking for a model to strap an O.S .25 FX to.

Last week I saw one in the field with an OS LA .15 and it flew well, not a hot performer but decent , ai ordered one from Atlanta Hobby and got a Magnum .15 for it.

As soon as I get it I`ll report.

I am using a 2kg mini servos that has a standard spline that allows me to use large servo arms to get max movement, the rudder is on a closed loop mounted in the fus. Elevator on the backend, with a 1600 lipo it balances perfectly.
