I do, I do :D

Just kidding guys, actaully I was standing right by him the whole time. Spectacular airplane! Blenders, Walls, Harriers, Lomcevaks, Elevators, Flat Spins and stuff I don't even know what you call all on the first flight. All that and it slows down and lands like a trainer. He was hovering around 1/3 throttle and climbing out of sight at half.
Uh, yeah, I want one!

ok fox 3.2 PK plus 22x8 mpi 870mg on ail and elev jr 4721 on rudder jr 4735 on throttle 16# with no mods sealed gaps . Never went to full throttle strait up at 1/3 to 1/2 hovers very easy with out a lot of movement, blenders were violent, harrier was rock steady with no wing rock ,elevators were flat and strait down with no forward movement, ver very tight waterfalls actually I think the rudder touched the prop, knife edge was almost hands off exept for the coupling to the belly, knife edge loop no problem, one bit of advice use a 50oz tank it was somuch fun i didnt want to land after 18 minutes i had a teaspoon of gas,the landing went like expected very slow and easy settled down without hardly touching the elevated!!!
Oh iI didn't think it would be proper to do a harrier landing on the first flight Kenneth

the assembly was fast ,with only one miner problem with the wing and horizen solved that by sending me another wing it didn't have any backing on one side for the ail hinge to glue to,I also used heavy duty dubro instead of the ca hinges,i moved the throttle servo cause i thoght it might be to close to the engine and it was hard to get to with the fuel tank seting on cg.The engine was new it was the first flight so i didnt do any adjusting and tack readings i will leave it a little rich for a while. The cowl mounting seemed a little odd at first but as it turned out it worked very well. The paint looked real good and matches.

Thanks for the report!

Did you mount the cowl as suggested? I does seem a little odd. Also how did the plane balance?

Rein,

The ole' Aerostar is a 3D'n fool. Much better than this cap I would guess :D

yes I mounted it as instructions and it works fine it actually holds the cowl out so it doesnt rub the covering, don't ad any weight to the tail,i used a haigh style tail wheel, and put the receiver batts over the main gear and it balances perfect

Ken,

Does the H9 80" Cap have a one or 2 piece wing? I have heard it is a one piece, but read somewhere that it is 2 piece on a tube...which is it?

Thanks,

Jon

Its a two piece in the box but once you glue them together you have an 80in board. :)
