Sig Rascal 40
 

Flew my Sig Rascal 40 today for the first time....really a neat little plane.
I have a os 48 four stroke installed thats more than enough power for it. cant wait to see the big one coming out soon with 110" wing span :D :D

I just picked up a Rascal 40 today; had to go with the blue. I was reading post last night on mods to the plane. The only one I really remember was to turn the gear around. Can't seem to find the thread I was reading last night.

Let me know if you know of mods that make this fly better; if it can get better.

I'm also putting an OS .48 4S in the nose.

I didn't do any mods to mine that I remember, but I don't remember turning my gear around.
I just built it as the instructions say too. The engine mounts to alum rails and the rails mounts inside the fuse with 4 Phillips head screws,and its really tight on the back screws to tighten. It's a really neat plane .......you will enjoy it alot!!

I started putting mine togethor tonight; wish I had of swapped out the engine bolts for some allen head ones. Can't get one of the screws to back out now. I may have to trim the cowl down to get a different angle on the head.
