Modeltech Simply Magic

i'M BUILDING A Modeltech Simply Magic AND MOTOR IS A OS 46AX AND i HAD TO PUT 6-OZ OF WEIGHT ON THE NOSE.i EVEN MOVED THE BATTERY ONTO THE FIREWALL. tHERE'S NOTHING ELSE i CAN MOVE FORWARD. THIS SEEMS A BIT EXCESSIVE TO ME , BUT THATS WHAT IT NEEDED TO CG PROPERLY. ANYONE HAD ANY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS ARF?

Yeah take the weight off, the Magic Extra is the same way and they fly better without the weight.

I'd recheck to make sure you have the right CG location. The Magic shouldn't need that much to balance; unless you're using a different range then what's recommended.

If it is right I'd suggest you try a heavy hub. It puts weight right on the tip of the engine and doesnt' affect its operation. I've used them on planes that needed a lot of nose weight.
