H9 P-51 wing lock problem...
 

I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how you fixed it? The last time I had it at the field, I noticed it had up and down play on the leading edge while bolted to the fuse. Come to find out the bulkhead is eating at the lock.

I was just thinking of taking a piece of aluminum and wrapping the entire wing lock.

I installed two wooden dowls in mine -> no play.

You want to add 1/16" or 3/32" ply to the bottom of the wing hold down tongue to prevent the wing from moving down.

Wing dowels = no play. I do this to all my ARF's.

Without the dowels, the weight of the fuse bears down on top of the wing, crushing it.
