Superstar 120 Throws?

Hi, I searched for a while for this but i can't seem to find anything on this planes throws. It's the Seagull Superstar 120. The destruction manual says to setup the throws as;

ailerons (high) - 3/8" up - 3/8" down
(low) - 3/16" up - 3/16" down

Elev (high) - 7/8" up - 7/8" down
(low) - 3/8" up - 3/8" down

Rudd (high) - 1 1/4" left & right
(low) - 3/4" left & right

I just see these as extremely low rates, 3/16" aileron rates doesn't seem like it will even roll the plane. right now mine are set at 1 1/4", think that's too much for ailerons? My rudder is set at 1 1/4" left & right, and my elevator is set about 1" up and down. Just a little worried about the stated aileron rates.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Superstar 120 Throws?

well, i went ahead and flew it with 3/4" aileron throws and it was very scale at those settings. Not sure what 3/16 would do, probably crash it. Someone should be aware of this though.

I set up all the control surfaces per the spec's in the assembly manual. It doesn't respond quick but flies very much like a beginners plane. Axial rolls are slow but it's very forgiving when flown with the recommended settings.
