UCAN DO 60 and 40

I am considering getting one of the two for use as a general fun fly plane. I would like to get the best performance I can out of it. The engines I currently have are a Saito .72 and a Super Tigre .75. Has anyone tried one of the 60 size UCanDo's with a ST .75 or similar. How about the 40 size and .72 combo? What's my best bet for performance and just plain fun? I am not opposed to a forty size but I really like 60 size planes due to the stability/ wind resistance factor.

With your two engines you should only consider the 40 size.

It is actually quite large, (huge wing) and it is long. I have an OS .91 4-stroke on mine (40 size) which is about right. I think you actually need a larger engine than what you have, but if you are just a sport flier one of them would be fine to start with. Definately beef up the landing gear area if you haven't read the huge threads on these two planes.

:)I agree with GarySS. You only have engines for the 40 size. I think you would be disappointed with the bigger plane with either of those engines. Either would fly the 46 well. I use a Saito 82 on my 46, YS110 on my 60 and OS160 on my Giant.

You'll love any of the UCDs. They are wonderfully flying airplanes. They'll do any stunt and are so easy to fly.

One of the best planes made.

Thanks
Barry

Ditto to what Barry and Gary have said. The Saito 82 works perfect in the 46 size if you can get one of those that would be a great match and I think would be your best bet for performance and fun. Save the 72 for something else.
The U Can Do are an awesome plane. You'll have more fun with it than you could imagine. I've built and flown several planes since my U C D but keep coming back to it. The 46 thread is long but if come over to it you get all kinds of info there without having to read the whole thing, just ask what ever questions you have on there and you'll get all kinds of info.
