WHAT??!!! More info needed...must have confirmation...cause that would be just too cool. They have done enough American warbirds...it's time for a Spit,. Zero, Fw190...something...

I'll bet they come out with a .60 sized, followed by a giant scale, like they did with the Mustang.....and there are rumors of a GS Hellcat too - sure hope so!

If they do, I hope it looks better than the one that is out now. Something about shinny warbirds that just doesn't look right. Wish they could develope a flat covering.

I spoke with Horizon and they say they have no plans for a Spitfire or giant scale Hellcat.

If you want a great looking Spit, take a look at the KMP Mk. XIV. Now that is a "nice" scale looking Spit with flat airbrushed camo and scale split flaps. KMP latest offerings make H9 warbirds look like cheap plastic toys.

Looks like there will be one in .60 size.... Not the first time they lied. I may have to buy one.

Go to www.wholesaletrains.com Get the phone number from the site and call and ask for
Gary. He will then email you their september monthly special sheet. On it he is taking advance orders for some of the H9 planes. the spit is one of them. Also they have a smoking great deal on a Saito 100 and from the Horizon web site that is the engine they recomend. Tomorrow is my birthday (more than 50 trips now) so I am going to go on the list.

Spend the extra $60 and get the saito 1.25, you won't be disappointed.. Same size and it will put some real fire under the wings. Got one in a H9 60 P-51 and it is a wicked combo. Blazing speeds and insane vertical for those huge loops with a 16x8 apc prop. Got a 1.00 on the shelf also and the 1.25 in by far the better of the two. If you look around I have found them for under 3 bills.

Just my 2 cents

Shane,
I also have another plane that will use the 1.00 believe me I considered it but the 100 in a Aerodrome Hurricane kit will be more than enough. I have a few other planes with some HP like a 45 lb seafurry with a 200cc engine on Alcohol around 30 HP and I will never do any acro with it, just go fast and turn left. see WWW.USRAINFO.ORG

Forget the Saito 125 and get a YS 1.10. Any .60 size plane will really rip with a YS 110 in it.

RE: H9 Spitfire????

Will anyone be doing a review on these when they come out, I will be looking for a spit sometime next year hopefully.

RE: H9 Spitfire????

James,
I'm sure that all the magazines will be doing a review of the spit. I would bet that R/C Report will have the first in print. I will submit one to them as well as the copy that H9 will send to RCR.

Sparky, what do you mean 'as the copy that H9 will send to RCR' ?

RE: H9 Spitfire????

Hi Jerry!
Sorry I didn't explain myself very well in post 16
It is my understanding that a large number of mfg will send a product to the magagzines for review. I know that RCR gives a full and fair review on the product they have. I also know that RCR buys items for testing so that it can't be specially prepped for the magazine by the mfg.
I wasn't pointing fingers or commenting one way or the other. The last time I had a review published they did my review and another readers review together. We basically came to the same conclusion. the plane was over weight for a 3 D plane it was a .60-.90 size Aeroworks Edge 540T.
