Aligning Wing Panels On A Texan

I am about ready to attempt to join the wing panels on my Kyosho T-6 Texan.

I was curious to see if anyone had any good methods of getting the wings to stay properly aligned and "tight" to the center section while the epoxy sets?

Hi Dave,
I propped mine up vertically in my Black & Decker Workbench, wingtip down, after taping hell out of it. Added some scuba weights to the top. Did one side a night, naturally.

Where you Philly guys flyin these days?

Vinnie,

Right now I fly at the Northeast Philadelphia Radio Control Club (NEPRCC) (www.neprcc.org). Its located at the very far corner of NE Philly near Bucks County.

Geezus Dave I think I used to drag race back there somewhere in my youth. :D It was a little 2 lane downhill that we entered via what is now the right turn north of the club entrance road. A donut shop might be there now and a jug-handle. When the cops chased us from Decatur Rd. behind the airport, thats where we went next. Ah the good old days.... ;)

Anyway, while the epoxy dries on the wing you'll have time to start analyzing the cowl stuff...and the canopy frame. :drowning:
