ARF's to Avoid??
I'm looking ahead to my second plane. Of course the H9, Great Planes, etc. dominate the ads. How about some of these other companies that, I guess are Chinese or Korean? I know that the Big 3 ship the kits to the East for assembly, so I assume these other company's quality would be similar. Also, the consensus at our field is one of the Stiks would be the best choice for a second plane. I know why they got the handle "ugly". Any "sexier" options available that would still fill the bill for a second plane?

RE: ARF's to Avoid??
If your looking for a high quality arf, SIG makes some very nice ones.
As far as what would make a good second plane for you, it depends on your interests and skills. My second plane was an extra 230. |

Look at the "second planes" portion of this thread.

RE: ARF's to Avoid??
There are many good planes in that list to choose from. I would take a look at planes from Seagull rather than Vmar. The price is about the same but the planes are much better quality. [8D]
