RE: Senior telemaster engine?
I have an ARF and I had to add 11oz to the nose with an EVO.46 in it to get it to balance. It was used but there wasn't anything done to the original airframe. Weird how they can go from one extreme to the other on the CG. I ave a few RCGF gassers, all 20cc and I love them. Been looking at the 15cc but my only concern is the vibration. Seems the smaller they make them the more they vibrate.
R/C Addiction, that 15 looks good in their, let us know how it does and be safe until your return state side. Shane |
RE: Senior telemaster engine?
Hey Guys,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I have finally flown my Senior Telemaster with the RCGF 15cc gas engine and it is a great combo! I am running a Master Airscrew 14X7 wide blade prop and tached it at 9200 RPM...great engine. Plenty of power of the Telemaster...it does loops and split-s maneuvers without a dive, idles forever and uses next to nothing for gas. I may have about a half gallon of gas through it and it keeps getting better! The Telemaster will fly, although slow, at quarter throttle. I am going to use the plane to teach my kids how to fly. I almost forgot...it started on the seventh flip on the first run. I will try to get a thrust measurement the next time out to the field. ;) Jeff |
