very impressed with electrafun xp
 

As much as a common sight the electrafun xp would be on these forums i thought i'd still mention it :)

I'm new to the forum, from Australia. new to flying as well,
Recently purchasing the electrafun xp from a local hobby shop..

So far i've gone through a few wings, embarassingly enough i found out why it wasn't turning (i was tryin to steer with the left not the right haha)

I'm quite enjoying the ability with 8.4volt and 9.6volt batteries, there is quite a bit to do with these toys,
I find myself not really looking at more advanced machines to have more fun..

If anyone could advise me on a possible concept i had thought of,
Its a cheap brushless setup consisting of:

Park Typhoon 3d 4200kv brushless motor
Park Typhoon 3d Brushless esc

i worked it out to be about $90AUS or about $60US which is pretty cheap down here.

The other option i found was a castle creations esc with a 2200kv motor
Is there any problems i might see? i was going to use a 6x4 size prop (or a 7"x4" one cut down slightly)
Would the battery still last alright?
