Source for Pilot figures

Does anyone have a source for "bust" pilot figures that look neat and are already painted. I need one for my 1/4 scale Cap but don't want to paint one of those rubber things which is all I seem to be able to find. thanks.

I have got my last four pilot figures from www.model-graphics.com. Denny makes these (owner). They are available in several scale sizes. Here is a pic of one...

Hope this helps,

Try Carden Aircraft

They have a nice selection as well. Pre painted and high quality. They are light too. They have them from 25% (1/4 Scale) on up. I got one for my GP Giles and one for my Sig Cap (RIP)

Good Luck,

P.S- Just in case, they are under accessories and then pilots :D

How much do you want to spend?

If money is no object, you can have one made in your own likeness. You can get them in a bust or full body size and with accessories like headsets, seatbelts, etc. starting at $115 a pop. A little pricey I know, but boy are they cool!

Check 'em out at:

Willams Bros. has some nice pilot busts, and they're not the rubber kind. They are styrene plastic. They're not painted, but very easy to paint. I just painted my first one and it looks great. They are very inexpensive too.

If you can get a copy of the february model airplane news, you'll find 5 pages of pics of pilots and the companies who sell them

I'll second Denny at Model Graphics and Life-Like pilots. He is also one of the few places to offer RTF 1/5 scale pilot busts. I love my World Model ARFs, but I do not like the supplied pilots...

You can also contant Jean and Diane Chevalier at "Pilots by Diane". I have their email address, but haven't asked them if I can give it out. So I'll offer to forward any email sent to me to them and let them get back to you.

Cheers!

Galen
