Just recieved my DP extra the other day and the quality is unreal. If he ever starts making larger arfs hes going to make a killing. BTW I have a ys 140 and a moki 1.8, which one should I use?

i have his bipe and the extra and love them both very much. i hear his customer svc sucks, luckly i have never had to deal with that beast. i am running an os -160 on the bipe and a brison 3.2 w a 22 x 8 menz on the extra.....

either one...

Some folks prefer the four stroke, while others prefer the two stroke.

I'd put whichever one can turn the larger prop.

But also bear in mind that they use different fuels. YS 20/20 for the YS (duh!) and 5% or less for the moki....Both will suck gas...

The YS has a pump (probably...) and the Moki doesn't...

I love my DP, and went gas on it. I'm not very good with it yet, but am getting better.

Cheers,

Sean

Red Rover:
I think you will be very disappointed with the performance of the plane with the YS140. I was. Just to much plane for the engine unless you can keep 12lbs or so which nobody has been able to do yet. Lots of good comments about the Moki on other threads as far a power to weight ratio, paticularly the 2.1. Iwent gas after the YS and was very satisfied.
