Which plane do u recommend to put a smoke system in?
hi,
Im am looking to buy a new plane i really have no idea which one yet but hopefully u can make some good contestants. The plane must be able to support a smoke system. So i need room for another fuel tank, pump, etc.... I have a 6exas radio so that should be enough. I was looking into a super stearman but im not sure if thats the right one. |

A Super Stearman would be a good choice. What engine size range were you thinking?

Anything 27% or larger and gas makes the best smoke. Dennis

Stunner, you still haven't said what size you're looking for.
I have had excellent success with smoke systems on engines as small as 91 4-strokes. Your biggest consideration when you get that small is having room for the tank and pump, so a plane with a sleek design may not work, but a wide-bodied plane, like a Stearman, or an Extra should be ok Here is a pic of my GP Skybolt with a YS 91 and my home-made Smoker |

I'm thinking of a Super Chipmunk with retracts! http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r...s/thinking.jpg
