right thrust...how do you know how much

I have my Cap232 90% finished and pick my engine up today.

I was wondering does anyone worry about right thrust compensation

The plane has a 66" wing span with .90 2 stroke should I worry about it and if so how do you calculate how much to angle the engine to compensate?

Fly the plane with the ailerons and rudder in their neutral position. If the plane wants to turn left or bank to the left, then add some right thrust until the plane flies straight with very little right trim.

start with 2 degrees right thrust. this Will be much closer to correct than 0.

Pull to a vertical upline. Use enough power to draw a fairly long line but not so much that your plane disappears. Note what the plane does as it slows near the top of the line. If it pulls left, it needs some more right thrust. It takes some fiddling to get the right amount, but about 1 1/2 degrees usually is good.

Also note that the amount of right thrust will change with different diameter and pitch propellers, and sometimes with different make props even if they are the same size. Smaller diameter higher pitch usually requires less than larger diameter shorter pitch for any given engine.
Rein uses the correct method, and it does take time.:)

Thats a easy question to answer. I use TLAR engineering to figure out this complicated math equasion.
That
Looks
About
Right
So there you go its as easy as pie.
