EDGE 540
ANYONE GOT ANY IDEAS ON A NICE .40 SIZE EDGE 540 FOR 3D. I WANT A FULL FUSE NOT A PROFILE. I HAVE A .46FX TO THROW IN IT.
THANKS IN ADVANCE[8D] |
RE: EDGE 540
Pacific Aero Models ... Aero Works ... Fliton ... but with a 46 2C you cannot expect much for 3D, it might be hard to prop hang actually as most of the planes come up to about 5.75 - 6 lbs ... Best bet to 3D with a 46 2C is still to go with a profile.

Edgeflyer
If you had a little larger power plant I would reccomend the Seagull Edge 540. I assembled one last summer and got to fly it a little before winter set in. really didn't get a chance to really wring it out as I had standard servos on it but have since replaced them with high torque servos. I have a Tower hobbies 75 on mine and it seems like it has plenty of power but like I said never go to really wring it out. clemrick |

RE: EDGE 540
I had a 1.60 os in this plane:
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...&I=LXEUP9&P=ML It was a lot of fun and performed very well. I used an apc 17x6w and a zinger 18x6-3. bisson pitts style muffler. |
