Prop for Taurus 52 in WM Extra 300s
 

I see quite a few people are flying this combo, what props are you using for what type of flying? I am looking to start IMAC this year and could use some suggestions.

Bill says a 22x8 is a good prop to start out with. You could go up to 22x10 after break in.
I have a 22x8 on mine and will fly the first flight this weekend :D

I AGREE WITH THE 22/8-- And if you want super performance with a wood prop- go with a Menzs or PK Plus

The 22 x 10 will be too fast on the WM Extra. Really should stay with the 22 x 8....you will NOT believe the authority of that engine with that prop!

I just flew mine today with a G45 and 20x10 prop. I can't imagine needing more power. It acually looked like a plane at 1/3 throttle! ;)

I have a 3.2 FPE on mine with a 22x8 I like it because it keeps the plane slowed down and it brakes good on the down line. I tryed a 22x10 it just felt to fast. Just becareful not to over rev the engine with the 22x8.
