Help!!

Hey Guys,

I used to buy my mail order R/C supplies from National Hobby in Georgia, but I guess they are no longer in business. Where do you get the best bang for the buck when you need stuff for replacing ARF Junk with quality replacements (tanks, hinges, wheels, tail wheel assembly, Kwik Links)?

Thanks for your help,
SearchMan

Anyone know of a good mail order R/C store excluding Tower or Horrizon?

Those are the things that I've decided are OK to buy from my LHS. Local prices on everything seem to be more than on line, but for the small stuff, I try the LHS. I can't rationalize the plane, radio, and engine prices, but the little stuff, I try to ignore the difference.

Are you in an area with no LHS?

Thanks for the reply, My LHS is about 45min away and everytime I go I get frustrated because they don't have half the stuff I need, so I won't waist my time driving there to get POed! I really have tried to support them.

Try going to your local Lowe's, Home Depot, or fastener shop for all of your nuts and bolts. The local Auto Parts store normally has threaded rods and sometimes partially threaded rods. I was really supprised that the amount of "stuff" I can find locally. I've gotten it down to mostly wheels, fuel tanks, and props from mail order now. Hope this helps.

Try Quantum Models- Here is their website:

They seem to have good prices and a large selection.
