H9 T-craft and Moki

Okay,

I had my T-craft up for sale, but nobody wanted to pay me what I was asking or had anything of equal value to trade that I was interested in. Part of the reason I was selling it had to do with not having an engine to put in it. So there I was agonizing over whether I should lower the price and take a beating or just hold on to it when the phone rang. It was my buddy in California. He offered me a Moki 1.8 with a Bisson pitts muffler to go in the T-craft (oddly enough the T-craft was payment for an airplane I built for him).

So now I have a engine for the T-craft but I am a little worried that it may be too powerful. What do you guys think?

A fellow club member flies the pants off his T-Craft with a Moki 1.35. The 1.8 will likely make it nose heavy, but I suppose you could move the battery and/or servo around to compensate.

Pin the firewall and use a LOT of throttle management and the 1.8 should work just fine.

The moki is an awesome engine! Very smooth, with lots of power. You probably won't burn too much fuel since you won't be at full power all the time.
