Slow-stick or tigermoth
Ok, so after moving and all I'm finnaly back on RCU again as I have not been on rcu for about 6 months[X(]. As of right now my collection of rc planes is lacking slow-flyers. Of what I've heard the slow-stick and tiger moth are the best at it, and seem to fit my wantings. I'm going to run brushless on them so I'd also like to know which one runs better on brushless system. I've owned a slow-stick a while ago but I had the 300c version. Now I would like to run it on bl. Of my requirements which one do you think fits me best.

RE: Slow-stick or tigermoth
I recommend the Slow Stik. It will fly really slow. If you reduce the dihedral and add ailerons, it is a great practice plane. With no ailerons and stock dihedral, it is very difficult to fly inverted.
I have had three of them, one a biplane twin. |
RE: Slow-stick or tigermoth
The Slow Stick...but with Bill Stevens's wing. See this: [link]http://www.stevensaero.com/shop/product.php?productid=18449&cat=0&page=1[/link]
This wing really improves the flying characteristics of the Slow Stick. |
RE: Slow-stick or tigermoth
My opinion is go with the tiger moth made for brushless motor. http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products...ProdID=EFL1900
Good slow flight charateristics for both planes. |
